THE Lib Dems have posted a leaflet asking me to write to both the Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service and Warwickshire County Council to protest about the proposed fire station closures.
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service is consulting on plans to close seven of its stations while Merseyside Fire Authority confirmed it would be discussing plans on Thursday to cut around 105 jobs over next year in a bid to make pounds 5 million of savings.
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service said it had been left structurally unsafe and it could be two days before firefighters can enter the church, parts of which date back to the 11th century Domesday Book.
