Sustainable technologies include the use of solar tubes to generate hot water, the capture and storing of rain water for irrigation, and the filtering of greywater through a constructed wetland system for reuse in the building. Gordon Smith's defense of the Bush administration's 2002 decision to divert Klamath Lake water for irrigation isn't that the Oregon Republican is wobbly on the facts. Part of that plan, according to a recent DWP analysis, calls for doubling the use of reclaimed water for irrigation, industrial and seawater barriers. |
