VAN NUYS - The Department of Public Works is offering tours of the Japanese Garden and levee near the Tillman water reclamation facility.
While the system has ample resource to meet ongoing needs, with average daily water and wastewater demand accounting for only 39% and 46% of water and wastewater treatment capacity respectively, these sources will fund a variety of infrastructure rehabilitation and growth projects, most notably the Western Wake Water Reclamation Facility.
The pipe transports waste from the district's Tapia Water Reclamation Facility to the Rancho Las Virgenes Composting Facility.
