The Utah State Legislature's Web site is an example for other legislatures to follow in utilizing Web technology to deliver public information to their constituents. The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the National Institute for Research in Computer Science and, Control (INRIA) and the European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics (ERCIM) jointly announced organizational changes which aim to strengthen research relationships throughout Europe to improve Web technology development. Ferrito noted, "Our recent Trends in Benefits Web Technology research helps us keep our finger on the pulse of how plan sponsors use web technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their benefits administration, including group life and disability. |
