According to the company, the new release features: web forms for marketers, allowing non-technical users to build rich interactive forms, configure campaigns and conversion goals; Outlook-based workflow management, enabling users to receive workflow notifications from within Outlook in real-time; web-based distributed authoring and versioning (WebDAV) media and document management, featuring drag and drop image uploads; as well as inline Word editing.
Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV) volume support makes it easy to remotely access Permabit DIS volumes using standard, secure protocols such as HTTP, simplifying remote access configuration while ensuring that remote systems meet the same level of compliance and are governed by the same retention policies as local operations.
The Stellent implementation allows approximately 250 museum employees from various departments, such as curatorial, accounting, development, marketing and education, to contribute Web site content by "dragging and dropping" content in its native format -- such as a Microsoft Word document -- directly into the Stellent system using industry standard Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning (WebDAV).
