Institutional discount rates are determined by calculating an organization's weighted average cost of capital (WACC).
A one-time liquidity benefit would be valued at a short-term rate, while a permanent benefit would appropriately use a measure like the Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC).
To introduce the computational methods of fuzzy weighted average cost of capital (FWACC) and fuzzy modified internal rate of return (FMIRR) are the base of fuzzy capital budgeting proposed in this study.
