A group of shareholders in Westward Television has requisitioned an extraordinary meeting to oust chairman Lord Harris because of their "lack of confidence in the management of the company. Darts first appeared on British TV in 1962 when Westward Television broadcast the Westward TV Invitational to the south-west of England.
