A winner of many national and international tennis events, Waggott was part of the Great Britain team playing in this year's ITF Super-Seniors World Team Tennis Championships in Perth.
The incident took place in Washington DC, when Paes 's Washington Kastles team faced off against McEnroe's New York Sportimes, as part of World Team Tennis.
Belgian Clijsters, 25, who gave birth to her daughter last February, has been in training and will play World Team Tennis in the United States in July.
