The simulated and measured gain variation in the
boresight direction versus frequency bands of interest is presented in Figure 12.
Since there are no reference "clicks" when turning these internal windage and elevation adjustments, a
boresight is crucial.
As shown in Figure 14, after a series of video processing [15], the angle position deviation between the center of the target and the center of the TV seeker simulator field of view (FOV), namely, the missile
boresight error [epsilon], is achieved and transferred to the target computer by RS232.
In the quasi-monostatic frequency-swept imaging system in [8], three transmitting antennas are used, the
boresight axes of which are at 0[degrees], 30[degrees] and -30[degrees] angles with respect to the radial line through the center of the imaged plane.
BAE Systems was fully aware of the dangers of not removing a
boresight before firing and had fitted interlocks onto their other guns to prevent this type of incident from occurring.
Investigators found that although the BAE Systems company did recognise the hazards of not removing a
boresight before firing - having interlocked other guns to avoid this type of incident - they had failed to implement the same standards on the weapon in question.
When you use the AN/PEM-1 laser borelight system (LBS) to zero and
boresight your new M2A1 machine gun, you have to do things differently than with the M2.

boresight direction.
AMSU-B equipped with a downward-looking earth remote sensing radiometer can repetitively do cross-track scanning of the
boresight of the radiometer's antenna [1].
In [7], a few GCP's are used to determine the
boresight alignment angles, in order to correct the orientation of the images and to improve the accuracy of the digital surface model (DSM) and orthoimage.
