IPPC: A final warning is being sent to Austria and Sweden ordering them to comply with an EU regulation on the granting, subject to conditions and restrictions, of operating permits to industrial installations (Directive on integrated pollution prevention and control or IPPC).
The draft directive updates the IPPC (integrated pollution prevention and control) directive and restructures it by combining it with six other directives.
