If we take the four instances mentioned at the beginning of this discussion, we shall find that three of them are logical, while the fourth is a
judgment of perception.

It is useful to know something of the manners of different nations, that we may be enabled to form a more correct

It may truly be said to have neither FORCE nor WILL, but merely
judgment; and must ultimately depend upon the aid of the executive arm even for the efficacy of its
judgments.
