The work of
Music for Youth is funded by a number of public bodies, commercial sponsors and charitable organisations, including the National Union of Teachers, The Times Educational Supplement, the Music Industries Association, the Department for Education and Skills and Youth Music.
More than 1,000 young musicians played, danced and sang their hearts out at the
Music for Youth Regional Festival.

Music for Youth, said: "Every year the festival goes from strength to strength and it's fantastic to see so many groups from across the UK coming together for this celebration."
Around 400 members of some of the nation's best brass bands converged on Birmingham city centre to perform as part of the National Festival,
Music for Youth - the world's largest youth music festival.

Music for Youth.
The
Music for Youth Regional Festival has come to Eaglescliffe this weekend.
The children, who all play the guitar are travelling to the National Festival of
Music for Youth in Birmingham in July when they will be among 200 Holme Valley children performing local composer Barry Russell's Rainbow Project.

Music for Youth, the educational charity which stages the School Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, is hoping to move its summer festival to Birmingham on a long-term basis.
The concerts are organised by
Music for Youth, a charity that promotes the teaching and performance of music.
The main adjudicator will be Eric Tebbett who is a Trinity College, London, examiner and has adjudicated for the prestigious National Festival of
Music for Youth.
ABOUT 10,000 young musicians are set to converge on Birmingham from Monday for the National Festival of
Music for Youth.
