Several studies, conducted in different countries, find a negative relationship between the concentration of ownership and disclosure (Arcay and Vazquez, 2005; Oliveira, Rodrigues & Craig, 2006; Barako, Hancock & Izan, 2006; Silveira and Barros, 2008; Ntim et al., 2012; Turrent and Rodriguez-Atiza, 2012; Allegrini and Greco, 2013; Costa, Oliveira, Rodrigues & Craig, 2013; Hunziker, 2014).
Literature aimed at determining the reasons for the ineffectiveness in the risk management programme has tended to focus on the risk processes followed (Coetzee & Lubbe, 2013), the practices applied (Vergotine, 2012), the nature of risks faced by these institutions (Moloi, 2016a; Moloi, 2016b; Moloi, 2017; Siswana, 2007), as well as risk disclosures/reporting (Ntim, Lindop, & Thomas, 2013; Raemaekers, 2014).
Although some studies have examined the relationship between corporate environmental disclosure and corporate governance, very few of them have conducted a comparative study across different countries (see Ntim, 2016).
Ntim started his forestry career relatively late as a Technical Officer Grade ll having joined the Ghana Forestry Department (now Forestry Commission) in 1976 at the age of 35.

Yet when the Vodafone-GT agreement was put before parliament on 12 August 2008, the communications minister, Dr Benjamin Aggrey Ntim, boldly told the House that Vodafone "showed interest" again in GT "in February 2008".

The first personnel of the NATO Training Implementation Mission (NTIM, the mission's original name) arrived in Baghdad in early August 2004 and worked to identify training opportunities for Iraqi security officials, to train individuals and support staff at the headquarters of Iraq's security forces, and to develop an action plan for a full NATO-supported training program.
