For the past three years, the University of Wisconsin-River Falls has offered graduate-level coursework and a Certificate of Excellent Practice in Service Learning, coordinated in cooperation with the National Youth Leadership Council. The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards has shown increasing interest in service learning, and new professional development resources are springing up across the nation.
