Widefield School District 3 has partnered with the Colorado Springs Housing and Building Association (HBA) to use the Home Builders Institute (HBI) curriculum, which focuses on pre-apprenticeship certificate training, for their construction program.

Widefield School District 3, "She currently has to rotate her hand, and we're concerned about fatigue, as she gets older and has to write more at school," said Hunsicker.
The investment was formalized during a ceremony at the AWFS[R] Fair attended by Dennis Karnstein, president and general manager, Sherwin-Williams Industrial Wood Coatings Division; Dean Mattson, director, Peyton Woods Manufacturing, and founder of the MiLL; Timothy Kistler, superintendent, Peyton School District; and Scott Campbell, superintendent,
Widefield School District 3. The presentation included a $30,000 commitment for 2017 activities.
