I genuinely thought there would be no role for me in the NHS because I was an

For too long,
Enrolled Nurses have been content to wait to be informed about what is happening.
In 2013, 44.7% of the registered nurse workforce and 57.4% of the
enrolled nurse workforce worked part time hours (defined by AIHW as less than 35 hours per week).
It is amazing the State Transit Authority continues to offer full-time salaried Cert III training for bus drivers, yet apparently NSW Health cannot see the need to retain a similar commitment for
enrolled nurses.
The
enrolled nurse clause was make or break for us, as it was for a lot of centres.
I WOULD like to thank NZNO for approving my application to attend the 37th annual
enrolled nurse (EN) section conference in Wellington in June.
The move by NSW Health to bring
Enrolled Nurse education into line with the rest of the country has caused considerable confusion.
