Among these, the frequency of exotropia,
esotropia and intermittent were comparatively high in the year 2016 in which 291, 207 and 35 patients were recorded respectively.

The study comprised 43 patients with unilateral amblyopia (28 with anisometropia and 15 with
esotropia) and 15 persons with normal visual acuity (via random sampling).
Keywords: Amblyopia, Refractive accommodative
esotropia, Stereopsis.
* Remove the cover so both eyes fixate, but you continue looking at the uncovered eye; if it moves back out, you can confirm exotropia (if it moves back in, you can confirm
esotropia).
Esotropia, exotropia, and hypertropia (2) are described by an inward, outward, or vertical (upward) ocular manifest deviation, respectively.
Other frequently reported causes of visual impairments were ocular albinism (13.7%); high myopia, glaucoma, and achromatopsia (5.9%); and retinopathy of prematurity, cone dystrophy, optic atrophy,
esotropia, and retinal detachment (3.9%).
He has been operated for bilateral
esotropia. The rest of the history is insignificant with no family history of seizures or any neurological disorders.
One of the distinguishing signs in the patient with bilateral frontoparietal polymicrogyria is a dysconjugate gaze such as
esotropia. Cerebellar dysfunction is likely, and seizures are present in 94% of these patients, typically of the generalized type (Jansen & Andermann, 2005).
The patient may develop a squint (strabismus), usually a downwardly deviated eye (hypotropia) or a medially deviated eye (
esotropia) (Heufelder & Joba 2000, Boulos & Hardy 2004, Meyer 2006, Schotthoefer & Wallace 2007).
La desviacion mas frecuente es la
esotropia, es decir, la desviacion hacia adentro, la cual se presenta hasta en 50% de los casos[ 2, 3].
