You're only young once. For new parents struggling with the high cost of raising children in today's tough economy, this old adage is somewhat reassuring.
"
You're only young once, and when you're dead, you're gone." It is taken from a blues song, and rather than sending out a depressing message, it seems to be telling us to make the most of every day, as it will not come round twice.
You're only young once, so the saying goes, and we should all do our best to support our children in making the most of their childhood.
"
You're only young once. You've only got one life to live so why worry?"
You're only young once, after all, but some of the trainees seen in new Sunday series Talking In Class (7pm, C5) aren' t so young.
"Now that I have the desire and backing of family and friends, and nothing holding me back, as
you're only young once, I think it's the right time to do it."
