Results published in the November 2004 issue of Public Health Records suggested a link between breast-feeding and a lower risk of both acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), the most common childhood cancer, and acute myeloblastic leukemia (AML).
4,5) There is an absence of other chromosomal abnormalities, including translocation t(1;22), an aberration usually found in acute myeloblastic leukemia patients without DS.
