Balls fish and chip shop in Prudhoe is taking part in En-cams
'Food on the Go' campaign - which is being organised by Tynedale Council in the area.
Keep Britain Tidy, part of the charity En-Cams
, had just three complaints - which it said was a tribute to the sense of humour of Wigan's 85,000 residents.
The charity EN-CAMS, organisers of the Keep Britain Tidy campaign, said the total which inc-ludes 21 new entries such as Cleethorpes, Colwyn Bay, Keynes Country Park and St Ives Porthminster, smashed last year's record of 83 and is almost double the figure achieved in 2000.
