When liquid oxygen enters the system, the breakdown products recombine to form hydrocarbons, alcohols, minerals, salts, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen. The plant will supply oxygen, nitrogen and argon to industry in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin, and will be capable of producing 160 tons/ day of liquid oxygen, 440 tons/day of liquid nitrogen and eight tons/day of argon. |
