Brazil, 48, of Lower Raydon, near Hadleigh, Suffolk, tested positive with 77 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 milli-litres of breath.
Prosecuting Pamela Meinert, told the court that Hendrie's breath test revealed he had 53 micro-grammes of alcohol in 180 milli-litres of breath.
He was arrested and a breath test gave a reading of 67 microgrammes of alcohol to 100 milli-litres of breath.
