In a baseline survey of over 4,955 persons in a prospective cohort study, the quality of instructions given to older adults taking warfarin, digoxin, and phenytoin when filling a prescription in the community was evaluated.
Patients are ineligible if they are or were in a previous MK-0518 trial, are under 16, are pregnant or breast feeding, have acute hepatitis, or are taking certain medications including phenobarbital, phenytoin, or rifampin.
