DIAGNOSIS Pigmented villonodular synovitis (PVNS) of the elbow DISCUSSION Pigmented villonodular synovitis is an uncommon disease that affects primarily tendon sheaths and less commonly joints and bursae.
A very peculiar and unusual condition, pigmented villonodular synovitis, is a benign tumor that can result in inflammation of a single joint.
Abstract: This report describes a 9-year-old girl with pigmented villonodular synovitis of the right knee.
