Beleaguered support technicians long ago coined the acronym RTFM as advice they'd like to give users calling with questions clearly answered in the manual. Consider, for example, that one week after a serious vulnerability was announced in a security program used by many Web servers, less than one quarter of a randomly chosen group of vulnerable servers-identified and checked by security expert Eric Rescorla of RTFM, Inc.
