A TELEX service offered by Batelco is being phased out after more than 30 years, it was announced yesterday.
Byline: Manama Batelco has announced that its telex service, which has been in operation for more than 30 years, will be phased out by the end of the year.
This was the case with one institution which had subscribed for a large number of these bonds, but they then complained they had sent a telex (for younger readers this was a primitive form of communication predating email) selecting the AUSEUR denomination.
