The 500-pound plane is powered by three turbojet engines that will allow it to fly to altitudes up to 10,000 feet and at speeds of roughly 140 mph. Also forming part of the Rocket Artillery of the 67th Army were two Artillery Battalions firing 280-mm high-explosive turbojet projectiles developed at the Leningrad plants. Dornier still has some life in it as far as the 328 series is concerned both in turboprop and turbojet form. |
