Erlotinib is the only compound as an EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor for which the survival benefit was proven with NSCLC. Furthermore, the phosphatidylinositol-3 (PI3) kinase inhibitor wortmannin and the tyrosine kinase inhibitor protein phosphorylation inhibitor 1 (PP1) caused strong suppression against NP-induced ROS generation. Efficacy in treatment of CML patients who have developed resistance to tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy due to development of the T315I Bcr-Abl kinase domain point mutation. |
