The DuraGrip 6100 series will not darken when exposed to ultraviolet light.
This means that when the wings absorb a special type of light, called ultraviolet light (or "black light"), they give off a bright blue-green glow.
The colored scales on the wings' top surfaces contain a fluorescent pigment that absorbs violet and ultraviolet light and reemits it at a longer wavelength.
