The virtual PoP, or VPoP, offers the telecom provider's customers voice, data, and IP access from this major market. The VPoP is now fully operational and will be managed and operated locally by leading telecom operator Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited ("PTCL"). The building and operation of Pakistan's first VPoP (Virtual Point of Presence) will initially offer Pakistan-based businesses MBS (Managed Bandwidth Services) and IP Transit services, providing high quality Internet access between Karachi, Fujairah and New York and connectivity to PoPs in Europe and the US. |
