A variable annuity has several options for allocating invested funds. Prudential Annuities, the domestic annuity business for Prudential Financial, has introduced Lifetime Five, a variable annuity optional living benefit that can guarantee 5% annual compounded investment growth for up to 10 years and a 5% annual withdrawal stream for life.
