ALAN says: Grants may be available from three main sources: * Warm Front (in England): If you are over 60, or have a child under 16 years old living in your home, and are on certain benefits, you can apply for funding to install a new boiler and radiators under the Warm Front scheme.
Two million households across the country and nearly 180,000 in the North East have now been helped through Warm Front since it began in 2000.
