The overall breast cancer incidence rates increased in Gharbiah, Egypt, from 1999 to 2008 by an AAPC of 2.3% (95% CI = 1.5%, 3.0%) (Table 2).
The AAPC in the overall breast cancer incidence rates increased for localized tumors by 5.5% (95% CI = 3.1%, 8.0%) and for regional tumors by 2.6% (95% CI = 1.0%, 4.3%), and there was a significant decrease in distant tumors among women aged 30-49 years (Table 3).
TABLE 2: Average annual percent change (AAPC) in breast cancer incidence rates/100,000 person-years by age group and year of diagnosis, 1999-2008, and predictions for breast cancer caseloads, years 2009-2015.
The company was formed in 1988 on the back of a Turkish Army order for 1698 ACVs in four types: an Advanced Armoured Personnel Carrier (AAPC), which is an all-terrain amphibious infantry transport and support vehicle with a 12.7mm gun; an anti-tank version -- the Armoured Tow Vehicle (ATV) -- which adds a turret for firing TOW II missiles; an Armoured Infantry Fighting Vehicle (AIFV) with a stabilised turret and a 25mm gun; and an Armoured Mortar Vehicle (AMV), which the Turkish Army ordered with an 81mm smooth bore mortar and a 12.7mm machine gun.
Average annual percent change (AAPC) was calculated and used to facilitate comparison of trends across groups with different numbers of joinpoints.
For both males and females, age-adjusted firearm suicide rates decreased significantly from 1994 to 2012 (males: from 10.9 to 5.9 per 100,000; AAPC =-3.4, p<0.001; females: from 1.5 to 0.8; AAPC =-3.6, p=0.002) with a notable decline from 1994 to 2007 followed by an uptick from 2007 to 2012 (APC = 2.4, p<0.001 for males; APC = 5.6, p<0.001 for females).
From 1994 to 2012, poisoning suicide rates decreased significantly (from 1.0 per 100,000 to 0.6; AAPC =-2.3, p<0.001) among males and decreased among females (but not significantly) (from 0.6 per 100,000 to 0.4; AAPC =-1.8, p=0.078).Trend analysis of poisoning suicide rates among some subgroups was limited because of unstable rates resulting from small death counts.
Each joinpoint in the final model corresponds to a significant change in the trend, and an AAPC and its 95% CI are calculated to describe how the rate changes within each time interval (3).
Using Joinpoint regression to assess temporal trends within strata of maternal age and race/ethnicity, the AAPC indicated a significant increase in prevalence for all nine groups (Table).
