Roberts: The ADAAF was founded in 1992 with this mission statement: "The Foundation is committed to enhancing the profession of dental assisting, promoting education and research relevant to the indus,, and complementing the efforts of the American Dental Assistants Association.
Our ADAA Member Directors to the ADAAF represent all ADAA members and assist the corporate sponsors in the fundraising endeavors and bringing the dental assistant perspective to the meeting.
ADAA Member Directors attend two Foundation meetings per year and facilitate the ADAAF
Silent and Live Auctions at the ADAA Annual Conference.
Board meets twice each year with its first meeting, traditionally at the Chicago Dental Society's Midwinter Meeting in late February.
The award is funded by the Kay Mosley Fund and the recipient is selected by the ADAA, ADAAF and a representative of the Fund.
Shall have made significant contributions to the ADAA and ADAAF and the profession of dentistry in general.
It is presented only when a joint committee of ADAA and ADAAF
leadership deems it deserved.
