Weatherford, "Codeshare and alliance revenue management best practices: AGIFORS
roundtable review" Journal of Revenue and Pricing Management, vol.
The Airline Group of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies (AGIFORS) event will explore the use of sophisticated mathematical methods that are found in science, engineering, business, computer science, and within the aviation industry for improved efficiency and more effective crew management.
Crew Management is one of several specific aviation working groups formed by AGIFORS and its partner airlines, which together arrange forums to discuss reservations and yield management, strategic and schedule planning, cargo, airline operations and the operational research managers working group.
We thank Brian Meehan and several airline employees for clarifying various issues regarding airline and airport operations, and Gary Fournier, Julie Hotchkiss, Darin Lee, two anonymous referees, and participants in the 2003 Southern Economic Association meetings, AGIFORS
Airline Operations 2004 conference, and East Carolina University seminar for helpful comments.
PROS, the revenue and profit realization company, today announced that Principal Research Scientist Darius Walczak, Ph.D., and data scientist Ang Li, Ph.D., have been selected to deliver an address at the AGIFORS
Revenue Management Conference.
