Job Dekker, an associate professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, won the
ASBMB Young Investigator Award, which recognizes outstanding research contributions to biochemistry and molecular biology by those who have no more than 15 years postdoctoral experience.
He also served as a member of the Committee on Education of the IUBMB, as Chairman of the UK Biochemical Society's Education Group, and was a member of the Educational Resources Task Force of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (
ASBMB).
