He added that since its establishment, ATUC has ensure rallying of the Arab labour as it developed a common vision about the Arab labor issues, such as wages, forced labor and vocational safety.
"The MRC has an important role to play in the empowerment and protection of migrant workers' rights in Jordan," ATUC Office Coordinator Hind Ben Ammar told The Jordan Times, highlighting the institution's responsibility to provide information and assistance, capacity building and services for victims of exploitation and abuse.

For his part, ATUC Executive Secetary Mustapha Tlili, said "the union calls on all Arab governments to review their unilateral methods in defining development policies and to involve social stakeholders including trade unions, employers and citizens."
