Among SVT common arrhythmias were atrial tachycardia (AT) 50 (17.5%) and atrioventricular nodal re-entry tachycardia (AVNRT) 38 (13.2%), while Atrioventricular re-entry tachycardia (AVRT) and atrial flutter (AFL) were less common found in 30 (10.4%) and 8 (2.8%) cases, respectively, as shown in table-I.
If the SVT starts with a very long PR interval at the onset of the tachycardia, the clinician should diagnose AVNRT with antegrade slow pathway conduction accounting for the prolonged PR interval.
We have managed to analyze RFA early and late outcomes in 43 examinees with typical AVNRT. One-year follow-up demonstrated that the procedure was efficient in 40 patients (93.0%).
