This year s Work-Life Seal of Distinction honorees are an exceptional group of innovative leaders that strive to create a company culture that encourages work-life balance, said Anne Ruddy, CCP, president and CEO of WorldatWork and executive director of AWLP. We have several companies reappearing from last year s list and we recognize those employers for their continued support in shaping our workplace with strategies and practices that enable employees to achieve success both at work and home.
To earn the seal, Brownells had to offer programs for its employees in all the areas required by the AWLP, including caring for dependents, health and wellness, paid and unpaid time off, financial support, community involvement, culture change and workplace flexibility.
The fused image [I.sub.AWLP] of AWLP preserves the relative spectral information amongst different bands.
"There are a variety of explanations for this mismatch between needs and plans," says Kathie Lingle, executive director of AWLP "One key possibility is that while many work-fife professionals have a clear conception of the most serious organizational issues, they do not independently set the agenda for what actually gets addressed."
The AWLP will dissect why there are so few women leaders in the region and explore how this can be changed through targeted public policies and programs, said Shireen Lateef, Senior Advisor on Gender at ADB.
The AWLP is cohosted by ADB and the Seoul-based Korean Women s Development Institute.
