ISLAMABAD -- Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Asif Saeed Khan Khosa on Monday approved the release of funds from the Access to Justice Development Fund (AJDF) to the Islamabad High Court and federal and provincial judicial academies.

The Commission examined Law Reform Proposals for amendments in the Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan Ordinance, 1979 and recommended amendments for including the Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court as member of the Commission, empowering the LJCP to sign MOUs with the foreign Law Commissions for conducting research and insertion of provision to allocate funds for the Provincial Judicial Academies from the Access to Justice Development Fund. The Commission also recommended that amendment be made in the National Judicial (Policy Making) Committee Ordinance 2002 for including the Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court as member of the Committee.
After meeting of the NJPMC, the Chief Justice also chaired the meeting of the Governing Body, Access to Justice Development Fund (AJDF).
