Segundo o banco de dados Hidroweb da Agencia Nacional de Aguas (AGENCIA NACIONAL DE AGUAS, 2016), a precipitacao anual no municipio e de aproximadamente 1006.8 mm e, conforme o Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia (INSTITUTO NACIONAL DE METEOROLOGIA, 2016), a temperatura media dos meses mais quentes, e de 39.4[degrees]C, enquanto a dos meses mais frios e de 10.8[degrees]C.
