American Educational Research Association (AERA) acknowledges outstanding achievement and success in education research by recognizing "Distinguished Contributions to Research in Education."
She is the author or co-author of several papers that have been published in refereed journals, including Science Scope and the International Journal of Science Education Laura has written book reviews for the National Council of Teachers of English, and she has made presentations at several conferences and professional meetings including the National Association of Research in Science Teaching, the
American Educational Research Association, the National Science Teacher Association, and the National Middle School Association.

American Educational Research Association. Making the most of allocated time requires that administrators effectively manage the academic calendar and the school day while ensuring that high-quality teaching occurs during classroom time (AERA, 2007).

American Educational Research Association, which is given for a significant body of work in the field of studies into equality.
There is not much research to be found or reported on in Education Research in the Public Interest: the interests of the editors and contributors are mostly elsewhere, this despite the fact that one editor is the past president of the
American Educational Research Association (AERA) and the other is the president-elect.

Therefore, it is all the more impressive that Reaching Higher has received two awards: the Virginia and Warren Stone Prize from Harvard University Press for an Outstanding Book on Education and Society, and the award for an Exemplary Book on Research in Teaching and Teacher Education from the
