Cenkos chose Ancoa to specifically conduct automated compliance checks based on the securities company's trading activities on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) where Cenkos operates as both a market maker and broker-dealer.
Cenkos chose Ancoa's cloud-based surveillance solution to allow monitoring of all trading activity.
Kurt Vandebroek, CEO, Ancoa, said, "We are delighted that Cenkos Securities has chosen our surveillance platform to monitor their trading activities on the LSE.
David Cooper, head of Compliance, Cenkos Securities, noted, "In order to meet ever-increasing regulatory and compliance obligations, we undertook a rigorous review of market surveillance firms before selecting and deploying Ancoa's platform.
"After the optimisation work performed with Intel, Ancoa is now capable of handling any number of financial messages for the conceivable future, even on generic hardware architectures", says Ancoa CEO Stefan Hendrickx.
Ancoa was developed specifically to address these challenges.
Ancoa is a dedicated, "big fast data" technology specifically developed to give financial market regulators and other market players the means to enforce market rules in today's world of high frequency trading.
Ancoa technology is already in use by Tier 1 investment banks, trading venues and global messaging companies.
