He also discussed with BDSF board member and Head of the Technical Committee Ali Mohammed Nabhan and Technical Director Sabah Al Dhawadi financial, administrative, media and technical issues, asserting the committee's readiness to provide all needed support to organise the championship which is hoped to be held every year.
Al Dhawadi thanked BOC for its continuous support to BDSF, hailing its initiative in sponsoring the National Day Championship which will provide an opportunity to discover new talents.
Shaikh Ahmed praised their achievements and also announced a salary increment for all the coaches affiliated to the BDSF
Reef Real Estate Finance chief executive Mahmood Al Koofi presented a cheque to BDSF administration officer Ali Al Qaisi during a ceremony at Reef's Seef headquarters.
Also present was BDSF programme co-ordinator and fundraiser T P Abdulla and Reef Real Estate Finance board secretary Ranya Al Baker.
BDSF chairman Shaikh Ahmed bin Salman Al Khalifa was presented with the cheque by executive assistant general manager corporate services group Khalid Ali Juma.
During the presentation ceremony, Shaikh Ahmed expressed his thanks and appreciation for the continuous support the BDSF receives from NBB.
Shaikh Ahmed said the donation will enable the BDSF extend its activities of providing sporting facilities and opportunities for the disabled in Bahrain.
