The industry will also require balancing, modernization, rehabilitation and expansion (BMRE) of its existing facilities, under a phased programme, to achieve optimal indigenization of plant machinery.
According to a proposed agreement, Russia will co-operate for BMRE (Balancing, Modernisation, Revamping and Expansion) of PSM as agreed.

ISLAMABAD, July 13, 2010 (Balochistan Times): The Ministry of Industries & Production has sought the approval of the prime minister for Chinese concessional loan of Rs23.428 billion ($173.17 million) for the Balancing Modernisation Replacement & Expansion (BMRE) of the Heavy Mechanical Complex, Taxila, it was learnt here on Tuesday.
