HM the King's Advisor for media affairs and BPDI board of trustees' chairman Nabeel bin Yacoub A-Hamer will address the workshop, stressing the crucial role of the reform project which transformed Bahrain from an emirate into a full-fledged constitutional monarchy based on separation of the three branches of government in conformity with the National Action Charter which was approved in 2001 by a sweeping 98.4% of the votes.
"The workshop is being held amid festivities marking Bahrain's 41st National Day and the 13th Accession day", BPDI executive director Dr.
His Majesty's political adviser for media affairs and BPDI
board of trustees' chairman Nabeel Al Hamer stressed the importance of the programme in encouraging women to vote and run in elections, promote their political awareness and anchor civil society values.
Al-Khayyat added that workshops aim to realize BPDI
's goals and aspirations of its chairman of the board of trustees and HM the King's advisor Nabil bin Yagoub Al-Hammer amongst which is spreading of the culture and consolidation of the principles of democracy and the provision of training, study and research and political awareness programs pertaining to the constitution, national action charter and the law for all Bahraini citizens on the hand of highly-qualified Bahraini and Arab experts.
The council president sealed the deal with His Majesty King Hamad's adviser for media affairs and BPDI
board of trustees' chairman Nabeel Al Hamer.
The NDI was later allowed to continue operating after signing a memorandum of co-operation with the Bahrain Political Development Institute (BPDI
), but has not had an office here since.
