Entrepreneurs get into the cleaning business from different angles, says a spokesman for the BSCAI. Many start businesses after working for another cleaning company.
The main cost in operating the business is direct labor, which is nearly 70% of total expenses, according to the BSCAI. Most people finance the business from their own savings and many hire family members to help them get started.
BSCAI announced the dates and location for the 2017 Executive Management Conference which will be held in Nashville, TN, May 18-20.
