BWBF is a national charity with a regional focus which aims to improve the daily lives of visually impaired and blind people, and provides a lifeline to the world to those who are unable to afford a specially adapted radio.

Margaret Grainger, BWBF's chief executive, said: "We are delighted to be associated with such a high quality broadcast service as Infosound.
"I found a lot of support from Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa, president of the BWBF and Mohammed Al Tawil the president of Muse Media, which made Bahrain the ideal venue for such an intense event.
The equipment is given free of charge to those who meet BWBF's criteria.
The 34-year-olds, who are registered blind, have each received one of the sets free from the British Wireless for the Blind Fund (BWBF).
Margaret Grainger, BWBF chief executive, said: ``Every day 80 people will become registered blind or partially sighted in the UK.
Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar congratulated the team members as he received them at the Bahrain International Airport, in the presence of BOC sports federations director Hisham Al Balooshi, Bahrain Weightlifting and Bodybuilding Federation (BWBF) board members Ali Abdulla and Bassim Jenaid.
