Summary: New Delhi [India], Sep 7 (ANI): Just a day after Teachers' Day, Delhi saw the basic education department staging a protest at Jantar Mantar, Delhi to demand the right of basic education for all
the children aged between 6 to 14 years.
The primary objective of this component is to ensure equitable access and quality of basic education for all
children in age group 5-12, prepare pre-school-age children through Early Childhood Education and Development (ECED) for basic education and deliver basic numeracy and literacy to youths and adults, especially women and marginalized groups.
The roundtable discussion on Financing Quality Basic Education for All
was arranged by the Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (Pildat) in association with the Unesco.
Among the goals to be pursued was the bringing about of a fully literate society and universal access to basic education for all
