Ahmed Shuja Syed told that the Centre for Advanced Electronics and Photovoltaic Engineering (CAEPE) is pleased to announce to erect Pakistan pioneering Class 100 (IOS 14000+) Clean room within the Centre Laboratories Infrastructure.
He furthered that the Centre for Advanced Electronics and Photovoltaic Engineering (CAEPE) has already being serving a wide variety of users from university and outside as the experimental facility provider for research in cutting edge areas.
He was of the view that centers such as CAEPE and other state of the art hubs together, through exchange of mutual experiences, can bring the best and most compatible devices and technologies.
Apprising about the Islamic Development Banks funded state of the art Centre CAEPE, he told that the center is funded by national and international grants and it is of prime focus in the prevailing circumstances for research on renewable, innovative and cost effective energy practices.
The event was attended by Dr Athar Osama, Member Science, Planning Commission of Pakistan, Prof Dr Hong Meng, Peking University, China, Rector IIUI, Dr Masoom Yasinzai, Vice President, IIUI Dr Aqdas Naveed Malik, ED CAEPE, IIUIProf Dr Ahmed Shuja Syed, IIUI faculty members and experts relevant to the topic, a press release said on Monday.
Rector IIUI Dr Masoom Yasinzai hailed the activity and said the CAEPE at IIUI is omen of contemporary approach of university as interdisciplinary research was the future of education and progress.

The event was joined by renowned scientists and resource persons including Prof Hong Meng, Peking University (video link), Prof Dr Ahmed Shuja Syed, Executive Director CAEPE, Dr Nadeem Ahmed Shaikh, IIUI, Dr Sultan, NCP, Dr Seyab Khan PAEC and Dr Imran Murtaza, IIUI.
IIUI Rector hailed the activity and said that the CAEPE at IIUI is omen of contemporary approach of university as interdisciplinary research was the future of education and progress.
The delegation also visited Female Campus of the University where, Dr Farkhanda Zia, Director Female Campus lead delegation to various faculties while, Dr Abdul Hameed briefed about the newly established Al Farabi Research Complex where he briefed to the delegation about salient research work being conducted at Sulaiman Bin Abdullah Aba-Al-Khail, Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Basic Science (CIRBS) and Center for Advanced Electronics and Photovoltaic Engineering (CAEPE)
